Pearls and stripes

Pearls and stripes

A Poem by Anjali

That girl,
Had a shoulder full of pearls.
That guy,
Had his hair full of stripes.

That girl,
Had a huge smile with the white white pearls.
That guy,
I saw him laughing, and adored the pride in his eyes.

That girl,
She was crying, with the fallen off pearls.
That guy,
He was hiding and camouflaging his stripes.

Those monsters,
They were killing them with their words.
Those friends,
They were full of nothing, but sugar sweet lies.

That girl,
I saw her, teary-eyed, taking off her pearls....
That guy,
I saw him remove those hair, which were once full of colorful stripes.....

Good write using a fresh approach. I have the same question about the last line, not understanding why he would remove the hair (I think that may be better than "those hair". Well done!
