The Clock Ticks On

The Clock Ticks On

A Poem by Anjali

The clock ticks on,
as I watch them go.

The rain slows down,
as I saw that fall.

The mystery resolves,
as I find a cure,
but from where did I find that cure?
It's another mystery, unsolved.

finding time, it's not easy.
saying ' you are mine', it feels cheesy.
But now it seems funny,
cuz you just left.... as time moved on slowly.

And the clock ticks on,
as I watch you go.
And the time stuck on,
to the moment we never ever had before.

Please add more lines, I enjoyed reading this. I read it like a melody. I want to read this again and again because I found a tune in my mind which goes with this. Thank you for giving me such a joy and it was a pleasure reading this. ☺
I loved the cleverness in the second stanza
I found a cure, but where did the cure came from is another mystery.
