Attack of the Heart

I know this poem sucks crap. just had to say something... my "father" (not my biological father) had had a heart attack, so i wrote about it.

Oh my dear father, who is not my own.

How could this of happened?

Your heart of gold trying to hurt you.

This is a sign of your aging.

A reminder of sadness yet to come.

It's okay, you're alright.

But I still can't stop the worry.

You've been a wonderful father to me.

Always loving, always open armed.

Always understanding, always happy.

Always caring, always helping.

You'd take me in if you had the chance,

You are family.
