sometimes we just can't stand to look at ourselves...we hate what we see...i think Plath's poem "mirror" reminds me of that...she hated the reflection she saw.
but then this poem almost gives us hope that the speaker will smash that bad image, make a change for the better.
and then, of course, get a new mirror.

Loving yourself is really a hard thing to do, I'm actually in the process of trying to learn to do this.

I felt this deeply. Maybe because I am in that process too. There's so much hope in such few lines of pure poetry. It is so hard to love yourself sometimes but then we learn and we see that we're more than a reflection in the mirror.

This i so relatable to me and something i am learning to do ...slowly! IT is so hard to learn to love yourself, accept yourself just the way you are!
