Grand mother

Grand mother

A Poem by Anthoni

As I look up to the stars at night, from where I stand.
I know that you are there somewhere.
In this land of dreams, where freedom lives.
You were a free bird, that flew to new horizons.
Chanting songs from the depths of your loving heart.
Calling me from the beyond, I am here with you on this day.
May God bless you, for your presence blessed us.
And least we forget, your gentle smile and laugh.
That lit up every eyes that saw this smile.
You are missed.
