When love tests

This is the first poem I have wrote about love apart from a love track in my book "Mourning before sunrise"

Everyone seems to be in love,

As Valentine’s Day is coming near,

But unfortunately love is the thing I fear,

May be I haven’t understood it yet properly,

People fall in love and then move on,

The feeling seems to be temporary,

Love looks good on screen only,

But it’s very rarely true unfortunately,

As I fight a lonely battle against the odds,

I saw so called true love flew away when I needed it the most,

Love changed its meaning and failure took in away,

My little knowledge about love disappeared,

Love is only about success it appears,

Promises they make to be always around,

When life changes its colors first are they to run,

Love looks beautiful till life is smooth and fine,

I request everyone who has their loved ones beside them,

That stick to them even in the toughest of times,

Love is not required when everything is going perfect,

It is tested when times are tough and hard,

I wish your love stays with you even in those times.

might I suggest stanza form... separate your thoughts and enable the reader to build their perceptions. And it will empower you to clarify directions YOU want your reader to follow.

yes, I know...but sometimes the strength of such fits as stanzas already - i.e. the last five lines above will readily stand alone as a stanza and that adds to the overall strength and appeal of your thoughts.
