Hidden Radiance

Your eyes clouded with sorrow,
Your heart full of pain.
An internal battle,
Within thy tiny frame.

The tension is rising,
As the sides pull their blades.
The war within thy self,
Rages behind thy mask.

Only a few notice the truth,
Fewer offer thee allegiance,
In this struggle of mind and soul,

They with help to build walls,
To fortify thy heart.
They will help to vanquish the sorrow,
To unburden thy soul.
They will blow away the clouds,

Your true self is radiant,
As many will know.
