Mother

Mother

A Poem by ApKWrites

She loved him

and we loved him too

Now, he's gone

and we still do

His mother's cries

echo throughout the skies

She doesn't accept that

she hopes that's a dream,

more like a nightmare,

and she screams

She digs her nails

into her skin

She feels the pain

and now she bleeds

She hits her fists

onto her breasts

She feels the emptiness

in her chest

Her screams rise up

all the way to the Heavens

She pleads her Gods

to wake him now or take them together

She falls onto her knees

her tears, rivers on her cheeks

She stares at the casket

and now she knows and we all feel

that's not a dream

It's all so REAL!

Sad :(
...and the way you brought out all that emotion, love, longing, denial, and others, all that lead her to a bitter realisation, its really something.

About
Stories popped in my mind since I was a child. Sometimes short, brief passages, sometimes just ideas of an event and some other times a full length scenario, so I started noting them down bit by bit... more..
