The human condition

The human condition

A Poem by Aphitenza
"

In case of identity crisis

"

You are human being

At it's best

You have the potential to be so glorious

but are not by design

Your mind has no limit to desire

Yet the execution is prevented

You yearn for omniscience

And long for an explanation

You lead your life in the likeness of your creator

And out of covetous reverence

You wish to embody him

You're aware of your maledictions

That you've no pure goodness

Nor fixated moral code

Nor strong righteous will

You don't dwell on it

Cause you'd have created yourself supreme

Artificial self-proficiency

You are a type divine but disastrous

Liberated yet self constrained

And only cause you live amongst countless variants of yourself

You've become the basis of all life

So take it all in

This is you;

Infamous man

In his most evolved form
