A Poem by APoetsMuse
"

Lies, break up, mistake

"

Wasted time spent wondering,
Endless thoughts spent hoping.
You woke me up to a world full of your lies,
A broken heart, after so many tries.
You placed the blame on 'just looking'
Yet in the end what were you seeking?
Mistake after mistake, you made your bed,
No truth to be gained from the words you said.
What a sad game, in which you will lose,
Will I ever be enough to be the one you choose?
Respect for me there will never be,
Your neglecting ways I didn’t see.
But now the truth finally comes out,
Oh how my heart wants to scream and shout.
You played me for a fool for the last time,
And in the end I will be the one to shine.
Causes in the end your ways have no place in my heart,
I’ll end this now so we can have a new start.
So take your tears,
And take my fears.
Bring them to the one your body desires,
Ending the passion that once was our fire.
