Sand Hill

Sand Hill

A Poem by ajelly
"

for a little peaceful place of rest I pass on my way to work -

"

Oh, this sand hill -

little space of rest

Lay your head -

head on my chest

Just rest here -

here rest forever

I will wrap my arms  -

arms around your back

I will lay my lips -

lips on your skin

Forever, you lie -

you lay here.

This sand hill -

Sand Hill Cemetery

Your universal mother,

mother of earth

Dust, pebbles, sand -

Sand, rain, snow.

I too shall pass -

you too shall pass.

For now, drab daylight.

And then, then the dancing moonlight.

 Evermore -

    Sand Hill.

Nice and wonderful. Like light dream and so easy to read and feel.

This is so beautifully woven :) Really embraces the senses and gives me a vision of such a place, decadently portrayed hon, stunning use of flow :)

It doesn't get much more peaceful than a cemetery :)

A light-hearted soul - that revels in simplicity of innocent observations - not afraid of exploring the edges of the unknown places ... Looking forward to having place to share my thoughts, never .. more..
