Read My Eyes

A Poem by April Child

Eyes that speak

eyes that listen

eyes that smile

eyes that glisten

eyes that flirt

eyes that hide

eyes that beg

eyes that shy

eyes of hazel

eyes of blue

eyes that say

I love you

I am yet to be disappointed when reading your work.
The eyes are the windows to your soul, and soul is what I always find a lot of in your poems.
Well done

Very beautiful. You can't tell a lie with your eyes and you can always tell the emotions of others through them

Wow. The eyes have it then! This motion is passed! Great job!

The eyes and the mouth are the most expressive parts of the face. I have been melted like wax or turned to stone by a woman's eyes. When, as in this poem, they say "I love you," it makes a heart increase its beat. Lovely thoughts put into words, April Child.

I've seen those eyes through the prism of my heart and the depths of my dreams, fleeting, just out of reach, finger tips away, slipping, always slipping into the future. Still, I follow the siren call of eyes that say more than words ever could. Lovely work, again.
