My Ballerina

My Ballerina

A Poem by Arcobalero487

My Ballerina

A ballerina coming this way
Under the silver moonlight she sways
Dancing gorgeously through midnight haste
In my dreams her memory shall stay

The lady with a smile on her face
Her glance sets my sleeping heart ablaze
A delightful mistress, full of grace!
A beauty abound by my soul's praise

This scene will be over in my wake
And in my eyes her picture shall fade,
A dream this may only be today,
But can turn to reality this day

A wishful thinking so hard to be
An illusion that captivates me

Author's Note

Arcobalero487
hello there people I'm a newbie here and this will be my first attempt on publishing a piece of literature on the internet. Just my first SHAKESPEAREAN sonnet from a very young amateur.

You will notice something in the irregularity of its structure but seriously its meant to be. Tell you later bout it after some reviews
