Believe It Or Not Believe It Or Not
This is my first attempt at slam poetry, and I'm excited to film a performance of this piece over the coming day.
Advent of Woe

Advent of Woe

A Poem by Arcus

A veil of deceit falls over blinded eyes
Ensuring the subjugation of the sheep
Screams of terror echo amid darkened skies
As innumerable corpses are cast onto the rotting heap

Thick, black smoke contaminates the air
Every desperate, shallow breath brings only pain
Suffocating humanity and unleashing despair
Searing the world with burning rain

The slaves are force fed into the black abyss
To be rent asunder by the hordes of shadow
Their souls will lay forever in the bowels of Dis
Forgotten, cold and alone, in their prison deep below

Cruelty and agony are the only laws
In this domain of eternal suffering
Hellfire rips forth from demons' maws
And gives praise to the Infernal King

Bask hopelessly in the presence of your master
A vile being brought forth by man's collective will
Rejoice, for the new God is ascending faster
To proclaim absolute sovereignty upon the throne of evil

Behold His majesty and succumb to fear
