Caravan

Caravan

A Poem by Aria

Morning comes to burn away the night

Birthing sparks in the shadows of your eyes

Watch now as our earth illuminates the sky

Watch now as our myth comes to life

Follow the symphony through the dawn

As you tear down the bridges of our cage

Take a breath and hear me breathe

Let them not bring us to our knees

Bear no more the fight of our lives

Hold my soul inside of yours

Take a breath and feel me breathe

Let them not rise from their knees

For morning comes to burn away the night

Birthing sparks in the shadows of our eyes

Watch now as our earth illuminates the sky

Watch now as our myth comes to life

I don't do well with talking about myself so I will simply say that my writing sets the stage for my imagination to play. But more than that, every piece I write, whether a poem or novel, is a bit of .. more..
