Yet the image of me in my tower is so haunting

You'll never think the climb too daunting

Rage wars for just one taste of my sin

Trying foolishly to put me back together

When I'm the one controlling the weather

Author's Note

not promoting anything negative towards women, especially since I am one. Just wanted to do a fun piece where the woman, who is always frilly, pretty and the damsel, be the one in charge. Who says men are the ones who get to have all the fun?

And I know the line usually reads, Sweet, sweet, nightingale (from cinderella right? thats the reference i was going for) i used 'mockingbird' for a reason. hope you guys figure out why. :) as always, thanks for reading and enjoy!
