only uttered wordA Poem by Ariana PapastergiouThis poem is again part of my small collection, which refers to the unknown "you". I haven't found a name for the collection yet. It means what you think it means, as with all my poems.-only uttered word- Let your smile burn my lungs Turn the bone that holds them into ash and feed the flowers with it I don't need them in sunny days, when words are dirt in my mouth or when I forget how words are formed and uttered, whilst others' ears pay no attention, but... the nights are serene for the air is cool, so I can breathe it Wonderfully Cotton feathers and the smell of ice Wicked sheets on fire but no, you don't melt You ignite Your chest is heaving - in my dreams- like a diamond between black coal I don't have to talk again but the night makes me whisper And that's what the ghost of you needs Just your name from my unknown lips
