the one without the other

the one without the other

A Poem by Ariana Papastergiou
"

So, after a long time, this is the seventh poem of my "you" collection, only this one is a bit different. Enjoy, feel, review.

"
-the one without the other-

The light remembers the bodies
yet burns the words
The flower needs the talk
yet yearns for silence
The night holds the whispers
yet forgets the faces
The man acknowledges the presense
yet knows not of the existence
The woman that loves him devours the mind
yet misses the skin
So, what's the plant
without its friends
And what's the dark
without some sun rays
What are we...
without each other
and what will we become...
if my one finds not your other

Author's Note

Ariana Papastergiou
I mentioned in the description that this one is a little different than the previous "you" poems. This one does not contain a "you", but a "we" instead. I thought it was about time I added some unity to the poems, even if it is just for one poem. That's all I wanted to note. Please enjoy and review.
