Are you going to cosplay?

I love to go to anime conventions and comic convention's. I decided to write a poem about the one thing that people seem to ask me when I go to one. Are you going to cosplay?

‘Are you going to cosplay?’

 

Is the question I am asked

For the comic/anime convention is on the way

And I dare not miss such days.

 

The panels, the games

The ever so lovely dressers

Are all I look forward to

 

In three days I find  

Creativity, Fantasy, Uniqueness and

Togetherness in waves of people

 

That attend

This unreal celebration.  

To play as a character

 

Is a personal pleasure  

That gives childhood dreams

To be a hero or villain.

 

You may say this is an obsession

And I’ll say it’s precisely

A passion

 

Through it all

It’s what I/All enjoy.

So I intend to cosplay

 

And maybe

Just maybe

I’ll wear a wig.
