Motley Guise

Motley Guise

A Poem by Arra Frost
"

Colors and shapes

"
A pink dots sits alone
Isolated by seven gold specks
Judged, studied, mocked
All in a row
But one ventured close
Roll the dice
On the rainbow pyramid
Three stars in a row
Red
Green
Yellow
Double it up
With a heart below the pearls
Next to stripes and diamonds
Sparkling, smaller, bigger
Shiny, smaller, bigger
Bright, bold, big
Too much yellow
Blue turtles with spots
Twirls on a record
Under the stars
With orange gems
And wings of red
Chandeliers dangle under
In loops of white
Feel the pink shimmer
Above the spiderwebs
Of the dreammakers
To hear the peacock sing

So first off, I adore the word "motley" so instantly I have a positive bias towards your poem haha.

But this is super trippy. I want to read this while high (I think I've said that about another one of your pieces before, but I'm not sure). Very curious, great piece :)

Blue turtles with spots; I would love to see them. Your poem made me envision them. A very colorful poem!

You have a very keen intellect….
It is not easy to paint poems with colors….
I enjoyed it…

Oh what a joyful poem. I especially enjoyed when the poem seemed to come alive with excitement at "Sparkling, smaller, bigger". Wonderful!
