Hidden Feelings

Hidden Feelings

A Poem by Isabelle Robinson
"

The character, portrayed as you, the reader, seems to have a perfect life. On the inside though, the character is breaking, and one day, it's all too much and everyone sees the real thing.

"

Nobody knows how you're feeling

Your outside shell is peeling

The true you is showing

And you don't care you knows it

Everybody thinks your life is perfect

But man, it's so far from it

You're starting to break down

So many people are around

They start to stare

But you don't care

You feel a tear

The area around you starts to clear

In your hand you got the razor blade

*Slit* *Slit* The blood falls in a cascade

You feel so faint

As if your heart is in a restraint

But all the pain soon goes away

And your soul is finally at bay
