Someday

Someday

A Poem by Su' Nacnetaf

So diminished, rendered worthless
abused and pushed aside
then ignored, left in distress
would be even better if he just died.
But how could he? Really,
when such feelings burn inside
which make him frail and silly
but still manage their way outside.

It is all because of her, undoubtedly
yet what I feel, I dare not verbalize
then he spoke, as I stood there cowardly
"Her beauty goes far beyond the eyes"

One sentence was all it took
just one, nothing else to say
painfully, I dare not look
and told myself,
...
"someday".
