Walking the Grey

Walking the Grey

A Poem by Rose Downing
"

My Tao?

"

My vessel is a bat out of hell, riding this divine spark.
skillfully walking the grey I trip and fall on either light or shadow.
Bipolar bruises shine tattoo black and proud as I stretch forward on my tightrope pilgrimage.
We are all evil angels. Benevolent devils.
Made of clouds and mud.
Ether and brimstone.
I've been told to take the highroad and walk in the light, but we all fall down hill.
I've been told to take the dark path and step on even soil, but we all need some light.
And so I go, teetering tenaciously the twilight, looking towards a horizon of a never ending path to anywhere.
