Enduring Voice

ENDURING VOICE

Whispered words,
Sewn with swords,
To bring eyes and ears,
To see and hear all works,
Perhaps for naught,
But a single drop of blood,
No longer sought,
Staves no verse,
Be it whimpered, roared,
Or sung discordant
