Through Madmen's Eyes

Through Madmen's Eyes

A Poem by Morgan Ashire
"

Look into the eyes of a madman and see the workings of a berated genius.

"

Oh, how the years doth part a soul in two,
Wearing face of cantered slough.
Known to none and none desire
The panging of the one inquire
That man surmised upon his fate,
As he wears his mask for all to sate.

Droves of eyes that probe his brain,
Waiting for his creature slain.
Pray for peril.

Prey for peril;
Only there to watch his pain.
Who art thou? Thou aren't sterile.
Cease to take thy name in vain.

Wow, this is really beautiful. I love the language, Morgan, and you never cease to amaze me. It's about time I saw some new stuff from you, too! ^_^
