My mind isn't safe when it wanders

You don’t know

Cause I don’t tell you

But my mind still ticks away

 

Supplies me with scenarios

When you’re later than expected

When you cancel what was planned

 

Tells me why it happened

When you don’t respond

It fills the holes you leave

 

With information

That tears me apart

Piece by piece

 

And it’s hard to say out loud

But maybe you’re no longer alive

And I’m left alone to survive

 

In a world

Where my friends live

A million miles away

I was feeling a little paranoid, so i penned this.

I wouldn't say this was brought on by a paranoid mind.. It's deep and speaks volume.. A feeling we all experience at times..
Reading this made me sad.. But so nicely penned emotions..
