I've been there

I've been there
I know what it's like
To want to slide a knife 
between your ribs
To be more scared 
about if you're strong enough
To pierce the skin
Than to lose your life

But to be so demotivated
You can't get out of bed
To hide in your room
Because you're sure 
your family won't miss you

To be terrified every time you're alone
That no one will be there 
When you wake up
When you get out of the shower

I know what it's like 
To need noise to sleep
Because then you know
They're still there

 

When people told me about others

Who commited suicide

I didn’t gasp in horror

But wonder at how well the method

Would work for me
