I Write

A poem written for the one,my heart yearns for . . .

Ink fills my paper.

Words written for you.

The words that paint a picture,

a picture of dreams so true.

Hoping they somehow

reach your eyes.

The thought of you knowing

them makes me cry.

An ache for you

that lives inside.

A yearning that I

cannot hide.

What do I say,

so you won't turn away?

Nothing.

All I do is write.

I write about the way,

I hope you read this tonight.

How you just might . . .

Feel what I write . . .
