A Poem by ♥Ashley Nicole Cameron♥

questions, that beg to be answered...

Will she ever live up to expectations?

Will she ever be exactly what he needs?

Will she ever overcome her demons?

Will she ever be free?

Will he be there when her light is going dim?

Will he be there when she’s at wits end?

Will he be there when she’s full of shame?

Will he be there and give her his name?

Will I ever be his everything?

Will I ever be the one?

Will I ever hear the words “I love you”,

And they not be on the telephone?

A very nicely written idea and concept with a very family oriented viewpoint...the doubt is there in this piece..and it is heartbreaking when I read the final lines of each stanza. A wonderful read:)

Nikki (or is it Ashley?), A developing relationship where the two involved are dead set on moving the pace of the process along on THEIR time schedule...there comes and impasse such as the one described. What to do? When will your questions be answered? Maybe he (or she) is having the same queries taking up THEIR time? Sometimes the only solution is to stop asking those questions of yourself and ask him or her.
It may solve the dilemma and allow the questioner to move on from there, whichever direction it leads them. A very nicely written concept and writing. take care...dan

a long distance relationship always comes with a multitude of questions...one way or another, the answers always appear, at some point in time...
