A Poem by Ash
"

Often the painful moments, are only a beginning of brighter days.

"
Tucked away in an invisible cage
You let me go so easily
After all these years, I thought maybe
You'd be sad to see me leave.
I would've stayed had you said you loved me
But my wings are meant to be free
You opened the door, what did u expect to see
I flew away, not once looking back
Wiping my tears as you stood still
Like always, unable to see.

i love this, it really encapsulates how change can be so painful, yet brings a freedom that was being previously deprived

Thank you! ❤
The message here is beautiful and I agree with the description. There is always a bright sun after the storm, even if the storm nearly destroyed everything. That little light of hope, a gift... It can mean so much in the long run. Great job!

I am who I am, My tears have shaped me into whom I have become. My words, a melody Rising from a tortured heart. And in the midst of fire, From the ashes I've emerged. Stronger than ever. more..
