Untitled Memory

Untitled Memory

A Poem by AssonanceWriter

I'm married now
Validated my vows
Ambulated through the aisle
Twirled in my wedding dress

Allowed a stranger to glide the diamond ring on my finger

The violins played, and it was a beautiful scene
A rare elegance- a cultivated beauty

When the-wedding ends all of that beauty perish
I collide with the crazy era

Those moments when I was treated as a Queen

I never had to apprehend or tried vaguely hard to be told that I am beautiful

A gentleman holding my hand- his charms were still far more elegant
His worn out apparel and open-toed shoes prohibited our fate
It was then when I knew that my happiness was real

Now, I get nothing but a shattering heart

I'm married now
Validated my vows
Ambulated through the aisle
Twirled in my wedding dress

Allowed a stranger to glide the diamond ring on my finger

The violins played, and it was a beautiful scene
A rare elegance- a cultivated beauty

When the wedding ends all of that beauty perish

I reunite with the Angel
His smile is still as adolescent and the most gorgeous

The way he approaches me is not one of a stranger, but a kind amiable greeting

When our fingers touched my heart splits in two
When he spins me around on the dance floor
The crazy era replays intensively
His generous hands trace down my face, and the electrical shock in my body tells me No,

I'm married now
Validated my vows
Ambulated through the aisle
Twirled in my wedding dress

My heart shatters, and everything falls apart
I've always loved him
There were no one else

He smiled and held another woman's hand

My body quiver and everything flashed into my mind

I'm married now
Validated my vows
Ambulated through the aisle
Twirled in my wedding dress

Allowed a stranger to glide the diamond ring on my finger

The violins played, and it was a beautiful scene
A rare elegance- a cultivated beauty
When the wedding ends all that beauty perish

Please, turn back time
The one I want to be with is not with the stranger
I want to be with him, the Angel
The violins played and the music enhanced

“I love you.”
I confessed to the boy with the worn out apparel
He bowed down and kissed my left fingertips

“I love you, always.”

I awake, and I've seen the world and everything becomes a blur

I'm married now
Validated my vows
Ambulated through the aisle
Twirled in my wedding dress

Allowed my Angel to glide the diamond ring on my finger
The violins played, and it was a beautiful scene
A rare elegance- a cultivated beauty
When the wedding ends all of that beauty remains
