Just me talkin'

Just me talkin'

A Poem by AssonanceWriter

I never been an assassin

But I feel like I murdered before

Why does it feel like everyone is against me

Is there anybody out there, reading’ this?

Assonance quit writing’ your writes sounds like a kill

Stop talking’ give me back my Pen, because of you, maybe I will

You don’t understand me, you think that I write affliction without reason?

What you’re reading’ now is what I feel

Picture yourself wearing a green hospital gown, being told that “Everything is going to be okay”

Look around you, them other kids wearing the greens but are spitting something completely different

I never been an assassin

But I feel like I murdered before

I try to join in their circle, I thought, I just have to do what the other kids are doing

But no, my illness was completely forbidden

Ever felt like everything that you touch suddenly disappear?

Ever woke up and felt completely worthless?

Ever tried to come out of hiding but- Life just doesn’t want to give you purpose?

I never been an assassin

But I feel like I murdered before

Why does it feel like everyone is against me

Is there anybody out there, reading’ this?

Cause what you’re reading’ now is what I feel

i like the figure of speech being used in the poem it is a combination of metaphor, irony and of course assonance, good writing.
