In Two

In Two

A Poem by HennyTheJetSmith
"

Where The Road Splits

"
I’ve walked that lonely interstate;
Where the road splits in two,
Under the full moon.
The wolves howl, or maybe it was the breeze;
Standing where the road splits in two;

She enticed, with her purity;
She tasted so sweet
But her drip was bitter
Along that interstate
Dancing with truth
Or maybe it was a lie
At the fork, where the road split in two;

I know what it was, but why feel dismay
Under the full moon
Devil’s Playground or Heaven’s Gates
No questions asked, for there i stayed.
Where the road split in two;

The sun burst into stars
Just to flirt with the moon
As i drift along the Milky Way
Free from the cage
Where the road split in two;

Numb; she could feel the numb
Coursing through my veins
She lured me closer..
The red dress, touching the sky.

Numb My Love
Feed My Lust

“Touch me, I Need You;
Under the moon, where the road splits in two.”
