do i live in you

do i live in you

A Poem by Devashish Kumar

all my poems are but little tales of
how your spectacular smile is a perfect
amalgam of compassion and nonchalance

how a gentle soft breeze of memories
seeps through the pores of my skin and
caresses the insides of my heart and lungs

how you free rains from your wet hair
turning a scorching may afternoon into
a magnificent cloudy day of august

how the wine of your scarlet lips and
fragrance of your rousing breasts throb in
deep and unreachable parts of my body

how in between sleep and wakefulness
i long for the warmth of your presence
and the embrace of your tender chest

do i live in you like you do in my poems

The sheer wanting and yearning within the words is evocative and willing, well done, good read.
