I"m sorry I don"t understand

emotional piece,

I'm sorry I don't understand,
That to me you are a complete mystery.
I am easily frightened, and know I am weak,
But I love you, and I try my damnedest to understand.
Its just so hard when before I was a punching back for  mental angst and turmoil.
Silence is now my enemy,
I can't laugh at things that are meant as jokes,
Because I never know,
I never know if you'll turn on me,
Beat me down like the others have done before you,
Cut fresh wounds into an already struggling soul,
And leave me with broken limbs at the side of the road.
I love you, and I know that to you it is not my fault,
But I feel as though it is,
And I'm sorry...
I'm sorry I don't understand

I like it, I can almost see the person as they bottle there emotions and hide them, love the emotion you put into this poem
