A Heart, its Crown and the Fire

A Heart, its Crown and the Fire

A Poem by Augusto Cruz
"

I gave myself.

"
A Heart, its Crown and the Fire

A heart that walked the earth
With a story of love and redemption
The thorns that knew the story
Told the tale of hate and rejection

Told the story of a homeless king
The martyr one, He’s the king of hearts
It’s power over illness unmeasured
All that’s evil ran off it’s presence

The crown embedded to the heart
Made him the king of his killers
The jewels that adorned the crown
Spilled the blood of forgiveness

The crowned heart had to leave
For the convenience of the weak
Now the reign is gained by fire
Spiritual battle we fight fire with fire

Unbound the glory of the humble
Ascended to the heights of might
Unleashing the light of it’s throne
Over the darkness down below

Unseen raging flames purifies the filthy
Fixes the broken and cleanse the past
Burning the impure lighting the dark
Giving power to overcome what’s bad
