Shangribaja

A Poem by Mother Maggie

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
suspended between
sky and sand
seeming to float twixt
shimmering, sun kissed waves
rising like billowing sails—home

on warm
wave-caressed shores
sipping gold
gazing
into undulating seas
contemplating
timelessness
in your eyes
