CANYONS OF FIRE

CANYONS OF FIRE

A Poem by Mother Maggie

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
Walls of fire radiating heat
Smoke and ash
Darkness and flame
Here exists only the breath of the beast
Both destroyer and creator

Amid the shrieking
The screams of flora and fauna
Amid cracking limbs and raging tempest
I walk unafraid
This is where life begins
This is the catalyst of change
This is the infernal heart of creation
