Hold me in your heart,
Torn asunder in your arms,
I have played my part,
And come into harm.

Hold me in your mind,
Cover up my misty eyes,
Before I'm left behind
Alone with your sweet lies.

I haven't lived in years,
Breath gone still.
You are my ultimate fear,
But I'll breathe my fill.

Touch my barren soul,
My remains of memories,
Cast me into the cold,
Darkness sickly shimmering.

Touch my weary head,
Drag me down to sleep,
Your hand in mine,
For I am yours to keep.

I haven't lived in years,
Breath gone still.
You are my ultimate fear,
But I will breathe my fill
Until you've broken
My last loving breath..

No, it was more about loving someone who is destructive. As in being "loved" by that person would be the death of me.
