Trust

Trust

A Poem by Xena Rose
"

I'm sorry Daniel

"
Crimson chains strangling

Sorry so sorry, releasing your wrists

River flood, I’ll try not to drown you

Too many stars expanding around us

Flower petals falling fast, the tree left barren

The sound of silence deep within me

There is such sad desperation in this piece. You write it as someone who has reached the end and to whom cutting into their flesh in an effort to die is the only option with so much guilt attached.
