deep affection

deep affection

A Poem by AutumnBelle

Slowly. Slow. A little more. Hard to breath.

I lick every crumb of time up. Forgetting yesterday and tomorrow.

You took off your shoes.

I let you in. you found the edges of my soul, my heart. I opened the door.

Delicate. Quiet. Trust.

A single tear sits on my lip. I taste the sea.

Why did you wait for me. Why so patient.

I don’t regret you. Never will. Never the same.

Now longing. Deep breathes. Cool air.

Deep affection has found its way into my heart as well.

Your fingers fit mine.

We dance together forever. Under blushing moon and star smiles.

I see your eyes.

Feet bare. Touching toes.

Thin air in October, the wispy fog curls your hair.

You hold me. Turn me.

Then we stop. Chase the moon with me. Touch the pregnant orb.

At twilight burst its thin paper skin. Drink the light.

See the star pearls strung on the navy canvas.

Watch with me.

Breathe with me.

Be with me.

Let me adore you.

I admire and love you so ardently.

You have bewitched me, just as the moon above has capture our breath.

I love, love, love you.

Be my shadow forever. Never part from me.

I think this was very deep and I absolutely loved it. It was hard to grasp It completely at first but after reading it out loud and thinking about the object of my affection, everything made sense and came together quite well. I like your writing style very much and hope to see more of it in the future!
