Memories I have tried so hard to repress,

Have returned to me in order to harass…

This life of torture is taking all of my drive…

Why must heartbreak be so hard to survive?

Even after all of these years have past,

Why will these memories I have still last?

Simplistic, but touching. Repress and Harass is a bit of a contrived rhyme, but otherwise it's alright.
