I Am How I Live

I Am How I Live

A Poem by Silly_Clumsy_Amber
"

Reflecting man eating thoughts, loneliness, and sorrow

"

I walk down the dim city street

alone to my thoughts and meeting my defeat.

I am alone

and there is nothing to hold.

The rain starts to pour down from the sky

giving me a sign from above that says to say good bye.

I am just a girl

who people know can't be a pearl.

Meant to be alone, I continue the walk of shame

knowing that what I am feeling can be nobody else's blame.

I am weak

because I don't know what it is that I seek.

The rain keeps trickling down

casting away all the good to cause another frown.

I am my own person

that over time just became a diversion.

I see the faded happiness casted out front

but I know if I chase it, it will just be some silly stupid stunt.

I am lost in my youth

still looking for answers from the truth.

The rain continues to pour, falling onto my skin

I wonder if there will come a time, that I will be able to win.

I am a lost one

who desperately searches for a gun.

The day here then turns to a night

and now it's the time where I'll end my rainy fright.

I am done

and from this day on, you all have won.
