Songs from the past

I wrote this as i was listening to a song i haven't heard in a while.

Music that awakens feelings
Brings back memories, buried deep inside
It's like a refreshing glass of juice
Taking you back to the good times
The simpler times, before these life's worries
The emotions build up inside
You almost want to cry
Your body responds in dance,
A rhythm that has been locked away in you mind for so long
It makes everything Okay, even just for a while
Beats, instruments and voices.
Beautiful voices you want to get lost in
Even if its just for a moment

Music sends us to worlds beyond ours. It takes us to the good and the bad memories. And sometimes, just sometimes, you remember the heart-wrenching moments- the ones that make you splurge tear after tear. But, after a minute or two, you wake up. And for once, you realize your life is finally yours again. Gorgeous read!
