One day, I gave you my heart, I opened my life, I let you in.
One day, I thought we would last forever, sailing in this boat I thought would never sink.
One day, I saw the spark in your eyes fade until it turned dark.
One day, I felt the chill from the coldness you showed when you turned your back.
One day, I got tired of crying from the pain of my broken heart.
One day, I said goodbye, buried our past and built a new life of which you are not a part.

Thanks so much Najam. I've been so busy and stressed with school recently and I now also have to deal with the reality that I have to let go of some of my relationships. It's been difficult and mostly heartbreaking, but I thank God for giving me the strength to keep going.
