Tribute to Alan Rickman

Tribute to Alan Rickman

A Poem by Lola Nad
"

Today, 14th of January 2016, the world lost more than just an actor. And I, I lost an almost family member.

"
I never met You.
You never met me.
And yet...
You've been with me for so long,
You were here when I was still a kid,
You were here when I moved,
You were here when I cried,
Here when I laughed,
When I was sad,
Happy,
Depressed...
You were here.
Always.
And now...
Dead.
A single word to crash my world.
A single word to destroy me.
Dead...
It's as if a close friend,
A member of my Family
had Died.
This is my Tribute to You.
Tribute written in bitter Tears.
You were so much more than an actor.
You will be remembered.
Always.

A touching poem that highlights how we can all impact on other peoples lives. Even those we do not meet or know.

It was very moving.
