Darkness

A short poem about the Dangers Abd deception of the Darkness.

Darkness shrouds those who allow it to.
It's comforting warmth of nothingness is like no other
The darkness is like a lover That gives you pleasure under the covers
It's a brother that tells you to fight for each other
It's a mother that goes through the pain of a man
To ensure that her children has something in the pan
The darkness looms over during the cold nights
It's the time where us as humans no longer care for what's right
The darkness is the temptation of a woman in blue
It's also that substance afterwards that sticks on you like glue.
The darkness is the friend that whispers 'Girl he won't know'
The darkness is also the same person that says 'I'm here for you bro'
The darkness is what makes killers kill and sellers sell
It's also the very thing that leads you straight to hell
Darkness runs rampant in everyone's veins
But there's only a few who embrace it with no shame
Those people will always end up in these two ways
On top of the world, then down in their graves
The darkness has many valiant Victories and heroic claims.
The darkness also has taken back whatever it had gave
The likes of pac,biggie, and Kurt cobain
That's just a few people it has slain but There's other in the game that it has yet to claim
From Jay-Z and Kanye, hell maybe even LeBron James.
You can run and hide in the big blue sphere, but remember wherever you're lurking, the darkness is always near.
