Her numbing release

Her numbing release

A Poem by Azure

she’s cold alone and numb

she hide so far inside she cannot come out

until night when the numbing pain makes her come undone

she cries screams and shouts

begging for the blissful release

found when the blade  slides against her skin spilling blood on the sheets

the painful sting reminding her that though her heart doesn't beat

and although she’s feels dead on the inside

she’s  still alive

on the outside
