The Beauty of Art

The Beauty of Art

A Poem by Brette Medb

Swirling, vivid textures
Blending into an infinite palette
Of decadent colors,
Dripping forth through canvas.
Dancing for all to see.
The beauty within
Each and every fiber
Ready to be embraced
By the lover, the fighter,
The preacher, the liar,
In their time of need,
Of passion; passion of life.

And it is there for us as long as we live to inspire us to visit our own well of creativity. This poem made me think of some of my favorite artists and how they influenced my writing. This poem serves as a gateway to view the world of the arts. Well done!

This is very uplifting... to me it speaks valiantly of when you stand up for what you believe you will shine for the world to see.
