VARIOUS DEGREES

VARIOUS DEGREES

A Poem by BABy
"

LIFE'S JOURNEY

"

Hidden behind the glossy slick smile,

The tender lines of a fraudulent smile

Lies

Frustration, fear, and just plain old worry

Many times have the call for strength come

But, just for once chaos would feel like the norm

Torn in two between the selfish and the rational

Whom shall win this victory?

Thinking in an abstract mode, crossing life spans

Entering into strange encampments

Letting time fly

Imagining propelling thought elsewhere...

Floating moving through faces as if at sea

Becoming a tsunami suddenly dashing and

Killing all hope of HOPE

Masking the realization

With erratic hand gestures

Questioning eyes, close-fisted body movements

Listening without speaking

Meditate out of this stasis

Fully open the third eye to bring me

Comfort...

Blanket me with solace
